Welcome to our new improved Junior Shockers Academy. It's still a recreational skill building program designed for 7-12 year old players at the same time and place as Micro Soccer every spring and fall.

This Spring we have partnered up with MLS GO! Junior Shockers, powered by MLS GO, will now provide every player with a full uniform of an MLS team (for example: Atlanta United/Orlando City/Inter Miami/Nashville etc...)

As part of this new partnership, our Junior Shockers team leaders will
receive soccer education on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of our season prior to the game sessions. Games will be supervised by Dothan Shockers FC coaches to help your players develop skills and confidence.

We are extremely proud and excited to have joined MLS GO to bring this amazing program to Dothan. This will help us elevate our beautiful game, and the Junior Shockers program to new heights.

Registration is now open and limited spots are available.

Cost is $105.00 for 6 Sundays of practice and games. Included MLS team uniform (jersey, shorts, socks) a trophy/medal is also included in the price.  

All players will need to be in their age group as of February 25, 2024 to be placed in the appropriate age group. 

Players will be randomly assigned to a team with a maximum of 10-12 players on each team.  Only siblings will have the option to play on the same team. Parents who volunteer to be a coach will be assigned to the same team as their child/children. Maximum of 2 coaches per team. In case of bad weather we will add extra game days (maximum of 2). If you are not sure if games are on please check on our website www.dysa.net to see if games are ON or OFF.
Teams will be divided in 7-9 year olds and 10-12 year olds
Players may not make a team request. Team rosters will be displayed on our website the day before the first game day. Uniforms will be given out by the team coaches on the first day. No child will be allowed to be "dropped off" parent or guardian must be with their child/children at all times. 

Schedules and Rosters will be posted on our website the day before the first game day and you will receive an email with this information.

We'll crown a winner in each age group at the end of the season.

Also we'll keep up with the scores and standings on our website during the season.

0 points for a loss

Equipment needed: Soccer cleats, Shin-guards,  Each member will receive a uniform powered by MLS GO!

Before you can register your child for Junior Shockers you have to set up a NEW account with SportsEngine. The accounts we had on our old platform (League Athletics) could not be transferred over. They have been deleted as of 11/27, 2023.
